I am watching the opening ceremonies right now and I have reached my goal for day one already and they just raised the flag. I'm knitting them both at the same time to help avoid the dreaded SSS, I finished both cuffs so now I will start the lace repeats.
It is so much fun to know that there are thousands of other knitters out there knitting and watching the ceremonies at the same time.
On a side note what was up with the music when the athletes were filing in? I was just waiting for the Weathermen and "It's Raining Men". Overall it has been a little weird and abstract but I really liked Bolle. It is supposed to be sunny again tomorrow so I'll try to get a good picture of the socks in progress.
